Workshop Overview
Grid has become a very attractive IT infrastructure in Asia Pacific region. Many research projects and national/international Grid activities have been launched in Asia and those are expected to promote development of Grid technologies as well as establishment of a world-wide Grid infrastructure. The Asia Grid Workshop 2004 will be held in conjunction with HPC Asia 2004 in July 20-22, 2004 in Omiya, Japan. The goal of this workshop is to present overview and current status of ongoing Grid research projects in Asia.
